Pool Shell
How it works
01.
We PROVIDE YOU A QUOTE
We will tailor a quote to suit your individual pool requirements.
02.
WE VISIT YOU AT HOME
All projects will require an onsite inspection to discuss and understand your desired outcome. During this inspection, the builder will determine access, size and of course designs. It’s a good idea to have key points and inspiration noted to discuss with the builder and ensure all aspects are covered off during the inspection.
03.
EXCAVATION
The excavation of the ground is the first stage of the construction process. This involves the positioning and setting out of the pool. Our experienced excavator operators then complete the excavation.
04.
FORMWORK & sTEEL FIXING
After excavation, the shell of the pool is formed via the formwork and steelwork. The pool will slowly start to take shape in readiness for the next stage. Careful planning to maximise the internal dimensions of the pool is taken during this process and the use of professional concretors is essential.
05.
pre-plumb
Plumbing and pipework takes place after the excavation and the pipework is placed in strategic places to ensure successful operation of the pool once complete. The plumbing is dependent on the design of the pool. Earthing of the reo bars is done at this stage also.
06.
concrete
With the steel and shell now laid out, the concrete pour and spray is done. At this stage you will visually start to see the pool taking shape. After this stage is complete, we recommend a minimum 4 week “curing period” to allow the concrete to achieve its ultimate strength.
07.
handover
If you have chosen our 'Shell Only' package, we will handover the pool at this stage ready for you to complete the pool in your chosen finishes.
